Despite being in early access, Sons of the Forest is receiving regular updates that bring new content and bug fixes to the game. Since its release in February, the game has garnered a massive following, with the studio announcing that it had sold over two million copies in just 24 hours, making it an instant chart-topper. The game is by far still in the development stage and has a long way to go to catch the market leader in the horror gaming niche which is the Resident Evil series.

The horror title has received a significant update that introduces several new features and fixes to the game. In addition to night vision goggles, solar panels, and other assets, players can now traverse the forest more efficiently with the Knight V, an Electric Unicycle (EUC). The motorised, mono-wheeled vehicle will enable survivors to cover long distances with ease. The update also includes improvements, such as making dead babies buoyant in water. Despite the initial hype dying down, Sons of the Forest is still being actively developed and improved upon by the Endnight team.
The early access version of Sons of the Forest is now available for PC players.
