Apple Arcade has added a total of twenty new games to its subscription platform, and among them is TMNT Splintered Fate, developed by Super Evil Megacorp. This cooperative roguelike game is an Apple Arcade exclusive that features the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles crew embarking on a quest to locate their missing father, Master Splinter.

A Great Game For Kids

Each turtle in the game has unique stats and abilities, similar to TMNT: Shredder’s Revenge. Additionally, two inspiration attributes can be swapped and upgraded, and players can also equip tool abilities. For example, Raphael is shown with a pair of perks that increase his critical hit chances and critical damage, along with a hook tool that pulls enemies close for melee attacks. Michelangelo, on the other hand, has an area of attack boost, multi-hit chance increases, and a taunt tool that deals extra damage to stunned enemies.

TMNT Splintered Fate features quick brawling combat that can be played using touch controls or controllers. The game description guarantees that each playthrough will be unique, and players can upgrade the turtle brothers as they progress to rescue their father from the Foot Clan and Shredder.

With Leatherhead, Beebop, Rocksteady, Karai, and Shredder confirmed as enemies in the game, TMNT Splintered Fate is likely to be an engaging multiplayer title on Apple Arcade. However, it’s not the only new original title added to the platform. Disney and Artist Arcade have released Disney SpellStruck, a Disney-themed crossword puzzle game. The creators of What the Golf?, Triband, have launched the physics-based car racing game What the Car?. Meanwhile, Magic Fuel Games’ Cityscapes: Sim Builder offers an environmentally conscious take on city-building games.

Similar to other roguelike games such as Hades, TMNT Splintered Fate features randomised power-ups and room layouts, ensuring that each playthrough is a fresh experience. Apple Arcade subscribers can enjoy TMNT Splintered Fate and other games for £4.99 per month.
