THQ Nordic has unveiled the enthralling preorder bonuses and the wrestlers lined up for the AEW Fight Forever season pass, an announcement that has been long-anticipated since its disclosure in December 2020. Yuke’s, the developer, has collaborated with the wrestling company to revive the nostalgia of traditional wrestling games on PC and contemporary consoles, with the much-awaited Fight Forever set to drop on June 29th. While the full roster is yet to be disclosed, it’s confirmed that crowd favourites Kenny Omega, Britt Baker D.M.D, and the hyper-realistic Freshly Squeezed Orange Cassidy are slated to appear in the brawler.
AEW Fight Forever Announcement: Preorder Bonuses Unveiled
AEW Games, via their official account, aired a video showcasing an assortment of AEW Fight Forever preorder bonuses, featuring Matt Hardy. Players who opt to preorder any edition of the game will receive a Matt Hardy pack, showcasing both his standard persona and his alternate Broken Matt Hardy identity. The first season pass is divided into three parts and will unlock a pair of wrestlers along with four enticing minigames. The FTR: Revival Pack brings Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler to the fore, complemented by minigames JoinUs and Deth Race-X. The Limitless Bunny Bundle amalgamates The Bunny and Keith Lee, alongside the MJF Car Thrash and Sloth Sling minigames.
Completing the pass is The Hookhausen Very Handsome, Very Evil Pack, presenting renowned performers HOOK and Danhausen. There’s an option to procure the pass individually or as part of the AEW Fight Forever Elite Edition, bundling the initial season pass and the Matt Hardy preorder bonus, coupled with early game access commencing June 28th.
Questioning the Paywall: FTR’s Position in the Game
True enthusiasts will be raring to step into the virtual ring against the likes of MJF and the Young Bucks, particularly with the diverse modes that Fight Forever promises. However, the revelation of the inaugural roster of supplementary wrestlers may provoke queries regarding the decision to place popular entertainers like FTR, currently the reigning AEW tag team champions, behind an additional paywall.
