1992 Honda Civic Built for Time Trials and Attack

Headlining the new vehicles is the RCR Civic, a customised 1992 Honda Civic winning Gran Turismo’s 2017 Best Car award at SEMA. Owner Philip Robles transformed the once stock Civic over 10 years into a championship-winning time attack and time trial racer. Extensive modifications include a Pandem widebody kit, carbon fiber hood, stripped interior with rollcage, turbocharged K24 engine, and 5-speed sequential transmission. Its custom relaxed JDM style earned acclaim at SEMA.
The Honda Civic Type R ’22

Also coming is the latest 2022 Honda Civic Type R hot hatch. While retaining Type R’s essential performance elements like aggressive aero, the new design moves towards more refinement over flash. Under the hood, engine tweaks squeeze out nearly 10 additional horsepower from the 2.0L turbocharged K20C for a total 325HP. Further improvements to throttle response and suspension aim to continue Honda’s reputation for direct handling.
Mazda3 Gr.4 Bio Concept Also Incoming

Rounding out the vehicles is the experimental Mazda3 Bio concept race car competed in 2023’s Super Taikyu series. It utilises 100% bio-diesel fuel to work towards carbon neutrality while preserving driving joy. The 2.2L SkyActiv diesel engine generates roughly 256HP on this sustainable next-gen fuel. Hybrid materials and enhanced aerodynamics shave weight and boost performance.
Extra Menus and Scapes Locations Further Expand Offerings
Update 1.38 also expands GT7’s Extra Menus lineup with No. 29 Porsche Supercars and No. 30 GR, covering the Toyota Gazoo Racing performance brand. Additional Scapes spots in Brand Central highlight Nissan models in picturesque global locales.

The Gran Turismo 7 September Update is scheduled to roll out at 9am BST/ 11:00pm PST / 8:00am CEST on Thursday the 28th of September, accompanied by GT7 server maintenance beginning at 7am.
