Massive 30v30 Mode Headlines Apex Legends’ Uprising Event

Apex Legends’ latest Uprising Collection Event brings an epic conclusion to the Kill Code saga with a thrilling new limited-time mode and slew of themed cosmetics. Kicking off on December 5th and running through January 2nd, the highlight is undoubtedly the chaotic 30-versus-30 Revenant Uprising LTM. This massive battle pits Legend squads against an unrelenting Revenant army in a desperate fight for evacuation.

The asymmetric mode introduces gameplay similar to fan favourite infected mini-games as seen in other BR titles. One team of 30 players takes on the role of Revenant’s lethal simulated forces, armed to the teeth and swarming aggressively.

Opposing them are 30 players grouped into 10 full squads utilising classic Apex Legends characters and abilities. The key twist is that eliminated Legend squads will respawn as part of the Revenant’s endless numbers. This ensures intense back and forth tides of combat.

A single player-controlled special Revenant also leads the simulacrum squad, equipped with fully kitted loadouts to spearhead the assault. Meanwhile, the Legend team must coordinate careful movements and ability chains to reach designated evacuation checkpoints. Skilled shooter mechanics will collide with strategic squad play for heart pounding showdowns across various areas of the maps on rotation.

The Revenant Uprising LTM will be available for week long stints throughout the entire event, punctuated by weekends off. This gives players extended opportunities to experience gameplay at a scope never seen before. Rotating special events and modes have long been community requests, and Respawn is delivering with their most ambitious LTM yet.

Themed Cosmetics and Challenges

Beyond the marquee 30v30 warfare, the Uprising Event also introduces over two dozen exclusive themed cosmetics to unlock across various weekly reward tracks. These dramatic looks channel Revenant’s underworld uprising with dark tones and ominous accents. Players can also use the special event currency to craft select costume pieces directly.

And a series of weekly challenges will confer bonus perks usable in non-ranked battle royale playlists for the event’s duration. These include enhanced ability regeneration speeds, extended item reveal range, and more. Alongside double XP timeframe, there are plenty of incentives to log in and enjoy the expanded dynamics.

For diehard Loba mains, the Uprising Event adds her imposing new Prestige skin named Apex Lycanthrope. As with previous prestige variants, players will need to collect all 24 limited-time cosmetics before the event expires.

This requires dedication to amass the necessary crafting metals or premium currency. But unlocking the Tier 3 skin transforms Loba’s appearance with lupine elements that complement her fierce hunter persona.
