Immediate Access to Baghdad
New Game Plus becomes available after completing Mirage’s main campaign. Veterans can then bypass the opening prologue and plunge straight into the bustling city of Baghdad empowered by their existing arsenal and skills. The replay option makes perfecting runs through the complex assassination sandbox much more accessible.
As extra incentive, the patch gifts veterans Bayek’s iconic outfit from Assassin’s Creed Origins upon beginning another tour of duty. The costume is a fitting reward for loyalists revisiting Mirage’s 9th century Middle Eastern setting.
Refined Navigation and Technical Upgrades
Beyond New Game Plus, Update 1.0.6 also introduces parkour enhancements allowing for greater distance on side and back jumps while traversing Baghdad’s perilous rooftops. Numerous other adjustments range from enemy AI behaviour tweaks to audio fixes and graphics upgrades for heightened immersion.
Capping off a banner year for the enduring stealth simulator franchise, New Game Plus substantially expands Mirage’s replay value for both nostalgic fans and completionist players determined to fully master Basim’s origin journey. Ubisoft continues demonstrating remarkable post-launch support between meaty updates and extensive roadmaps.
This update is gigantic in size compared to the 1.04 patch that came out a couple of months back.
So whether honing stealth kills or simply taking in the city’s sights, AC Mirage devotees can now approach their return visits like Basim himself – armed with hard-won knowledge ready to alter fate through precision, patience, and a hidden blade.
