The X/Twitter leak has since had its tweet deleted which probably means EA weren’t too happy about the breach of information and took action to remove the post.

Custom Dream Dates
One big new feature is custom dates. You’ll be able to plan the perfect romantic evening using a new dating app on your Sim’s phone.
First, create an “About Me” profile sharing your Sim’s traits, age preferences, and orientation to find compatible matches.
Then set up a custom date – you choose the place, activities, and goals. Maybe a cosy dinner at a nice restaurant followed by stargazing at the park? The dating world is your oyster!
Romance Gets Personal
To make relationships more realistic, Lovestruck adds Turn-Ons and Turn-Offs.
These are specific things your Sim finds attractive or unattractive in a partner. For example, your Sim might love when their crush dresses stylishly but can’t stand laziness.
Their turn-ons and turn-offs will determine how attracted they are to other Sims.
You’ll also be able to set Romance Dynamics for each couple. This decides if their chemistry is:
- Wholesome (sweet, innocent)
- Steamy (very flirty and romantic)
- Or unpredictable (their moods and feelings change a lot)
Two new traits, Lovebug and Romantically Reserved, control how enthusiastic or cautious your Sim is about pursuing romance too.
Of course, relationships aren’t all roses. Lovestruck has a shocking new way for a broken heart to be truly devastating – your Sim could die of heartbreak if they face too much romantic tragedy at once! Yikes.
To prevent that sad end, you’ll want to keep an eye on your Sim’s love life using the new Romance Skill.
Mastering flirting and intimacy helps build healthier partnerships. New Romance-focused aspirations like Romantic Explorer and Paragon Partner provide goals and rewards for finding lasting love too.
Love is in the Air (And Around Town)
Downtown areas will be more flirty with the new Singles Hangout lot trait making public spaces romantic hotspots.
Your Sims can easily mingle and pick up dates while out running errands! A new Romance Consultant career is perfect for your resident matchmaker too.
For dates, one awesome upgrade is that other Sims won’t randomly crash your romantic rendezvous anymore unless invited! You and your date can enjoy uninterrupted quality time.
