Eager Sims fans have cause for excitement as a new Stuff Pack for The Sims 4 is slated for release very soon. Even better, select players will get the chance to score the pack completely free through an upcoming social media giveaway contest.
In The Sims 4, Sims can learn and advance a variety of skills. However, some like cooking are integral to fulfilling basic needs, so most Sims naturally become proficient cooks over time simply by making regular meals. This means long-time players have tried all the game’s existing recipes extensively.
To reinvigorate cooking gameplay, the upcoming Stuff Pack introduces new state-of-the-art cooking objects that enable preparation of additional recipes. Dubbed Home Chef Hustle, the expansion includes a high-tech waffle maker for cooking waffles, as well as a counter-top pizza oven for making pizzas and focaccia bread.
Publisher EA Providing 40 Free Pack Codes Through Social Promotion
To celebrate the launch, publisher EA is providing 40 lucky fans a free Home Chef Hustle code via a contest. Interested players must follow The Sims on Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook or other platforms by September 27th at 8:59PM UK Time/11:59PM PT. They must then post naming their envisioned in-game food stand and use the hashtag #TheSimsGiveaway.
Ten random winners will be selected on each platform, receiving a free code on September 29th. With the Stuff Pack launching September 28th, entering could score a freebie at release.
The latest DLC kits got added about a fortnight ago which we reported on, they include new swimwear and bedroom items via the poolside fashion kit. Details finally emerged about the next installment too, with it being a free-to-play strategy title. There isn’t much more to go on than that but more news should follow in the coming weeks and months ahead.
Beyond new recipes, a major cooking menu interface overhaul is also arriving in a free base game update alongside the Pack. Despite numerous existing recipes, navigation remains cumbersome. The improved interface with more filters and organisation aims to expedite recipe browsing.
