Gameloft has officially revealed Tales of Agrabah, the next major update for Disney Dreamlight Valley, set to release on February 26th.
The update introduces a brand-new Aladdin-inspired Realm where players will help Aladdin and Princess Jasmine restore their home after it becomes plagued by sandstorms.
Alongside the new storyline, both characters will be available to recruit to the Valley, bringing unique friendship quests and exclusive rewards.
A brief 55-second trailer was uploaded to the official DDV YouTube channel which you can view below:
Exploring the Tales of Agrabah Realm
The new Realm takes players to the heart of Agrabah, where they will investigate a mysterious artifact that has unleashed chaotic sandstorms.
Players must assist Aladdin and Jasmine in uncovering the artifact’s origins, solving puzzles, and restoring the city to its former glory.
As part of their journey, players will also gain access to the Flying Carpet, which can be unlocked as a companion pet after completing Aladdin’s questline.
Once Aladdin and Jasmine move into the Valley, they will introduce new interactive features, including Aladdin’s rotating Gemstone stall, where players can purchase rare materials.
Jasmine, on the other hand, will offer unique quests that reward players with themed clothing and decorations inspired by Agrabah.
Expanded Features and Quality-of-Life Improvements

Alongside the new Realm, the Floating Islands system will receive a major expansion, introducing four new biomes: Peaceful Meadow, Dazzle Beach, Glade of Trust, and the Forgotten Lands.
Each Island will cost 15K in-game currency which means you’ll have to part with 60K to acquire all four.
Players can now decorate these floating areas with themed items to create customised scenic locations.
Cooking improvements are also part of the update, making it easier to manage recipes.

A search function and filters will be added to the cooking menu, allowing players to find meals required for quests or restaurant orders more efficiently.
Additionally, a new slow cooker feature lets players prepare multiple meals at once, streamlining the process.
The Oasis Retreat Star Path and Future Updates
The Oasis Retreat Star Path introduces a fresh wave of resort-themed customisation options.
By completing relaxation-focused activities, such as gardening, fruit-picking, and cooking, players can unlock tropical decorations, including palm trees, critter baths, and other resort-inspired furnishings.
Beyond Tales of Agrabah, Gameloft has outlined a roadmap for future updates in 2025.
The Spring update is expected to bring Alice in Wonderland content, while the Summer update will introduce Skull Rock, hinting at possible appearances from Peter Pan characters such as Captain Hook or Peter himself.
The summer update will also coincide with the release of the second half of The Storybook Vale, which is set to focus on Maleficent.
With Tales of Agrabah arriving soon, players can look forward to exciting new content, beloved characters, and enhanced gameplay mechanics, continuing to expand the magic of Disney Dreamlight Valley.
