Tekken 8 is set to receive its first Season 2 DLC character, and it’s none other than Anna Williams.

Bandai Namco has confirmed that Anna will be available to Year 2 Pass holders on 31st March 2025, with a full release for all players on 3rd April 2025.

Tekken 8 Season 2 DLC Roadmap Revealed

Bandai Namco has outlined its Season 2 roadmap, detailing what players can expect throughout the year. The roadmap includes:

  • Summer 2025 – A new stage and an additional character.
  • Fall 2025 – A brand-new character.
  • Winter 2025 – A new stage and an additional character.

Tekken 8’s Sales Surpass Three Million Copies

Alongside the DLC announcement, Bandai Namco has confirmed that Tekken 8 has surpassed three million copies sold, making it the fastest-selling entry in the franchise’s history.

This milestone puts it ahead of its predecessor, Tekken 7, which has sold over 12 million units to date.

The game’s strong sales indicate sustained interest in the franchise, fuelled by its refined combat mechanics, expanded roster, and engaging story mode.

The developers recently celebrated the 1st Anniversary of the game by releasing a tribute trailer that’s dedicated to the fans.

With the addition of Season 2 content, the fighting title is poised to maintain its momentum well into 2025.

Competitive Scene and Future Updates

During the TEKKEN Talk Live event, Bandai Namco also shared insights into upcoming ranked match adjustments and updates to the competitive landscape.

Tekken World Tour 2025 will kick off at EVO Japan in May, promising high-stakes battles among the world’s best players.
