Xbox Game Pass kicks off June 2025 with a stacked first wave, headlined by surprise launches, iconic returns, and upcoming indies.
The details on Wave 1 were shared over on the Xbox Wire. Baldur’s Gate: Enhanced Edition and Baldur’s Gate II: Enhanced Edition are now available via Console and Cloud for Game Pass Ultimate and Standard subscribers, giving fans a chance to revisit the origins of the legendary RPG series. Curiously, both titles are absent from PC Game Pass.
Though not quite as epic as the third instalment which won a GOTY title, they are still worth picking up.
Coming Soon to Game Pass
On 10 June, Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine – Master Crafted Edition lands on Cloud, PC, and Xbox Series X|S for Ultimate and PC subscribers.
This upgraded version of the 2011 original comes with graphical and quality-of-life improvements, acting as a perfect prelude for those eager to dive into Space Marine 2.
The schedule continues with Barbie Project Friendship launching 11 June across all three subscription tiers, and Kingdom: Two Crowns arriving the same day exclusively for PC Game Pass and Ultimate users.
EA Sports FC 25 joins the lineup on 12 June via EA Play. Traditionally added around this time each year, the inclusion offers football fans a post-season chance to jump in before FC 26 is inevitably revealed.
On 13 June, sci-fi survival title The Alters debuts as a day-one release for Cloud, PC, and Xbox Series X|S.
Players control Jan, a lone survivor on a hostile planet, who crafts alternate versions of himself to survive increasingly desperate scenarios.
June 17th Delivers a Trio of Heavy-Hitters
Game Pass closes the wave on 17 June with three notable additions:
- FBC: Firebreak (Cloud, PC, Xbox Series X|S) – Remedy’s first foray into co-op, set in the Control universe.
- Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time (Console and PC) – A long-anticipated arrival from Activision, now under Microsoft.
- Lost in Random: The Eternal Die (Cloud, PC, Xbox Series X|S) – A day-one tactical action game blending dice-based mechanics with real-time combat.
The Crash Bandicoot inclusion is particularly interesting, as last August the N. Sane Trilogy was added to the subscription service and now It’s About Time completes the full package.

Titles Leaving on 15 June
Subscribers should note that the following titles are set to be removed on June 15th:

These are playable across Cloud, Console, or PC depending on the title. Xbox reminds users that these can be purchased at a 20% discount before removal.
