The latest video reflects on the journey Guardians have taken across the franchise. It revisits major story beats from expansions such as The Witch Queen while also looking back at events linked to The Taken King. Throughout the trailer, Bungie highlights how players have continued to forge their own path across the Destiny universe.

Dialogue between several characters focuses on themes of loyalty, bravery and sacrifice.

The trailer remembers fallen allies, including Cayde and Amanda, while also building anticipation for the battle against the Witness.

Another major focus is the bond between Guardians and their Ghosts. Bungie emphasises that these companions were chosen to defend humanity despite having no memories of their previous lives. The trailer also reminds players that Earth’s recovery remains unfinished and that ancient prophecies still cast a shadow over the future.

Alongside revisiting past events, the video serves as a reminder that Guardians will continue standing together against new threats. Bungie once again places the focus on players shaping the fate of the universe through their own actions.

As additional context, the trailer invites fans to remember the adventures, victories and challenges experienced throughout the Destiny franchise. It also includes the Latin phrase “Per Audacia Ad Astra”, which translates to “Through Boldness to the Stars”, reinforcing the series’ message of perseverance and hope.

Destiny 2 is available now on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and PC.
