Key Highlights:
- Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4 Xbox Game Pass Premium access is now available at no extra cost for Premium subscribers.
- The remake was previously limited to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members.
- Players can revisit two classic skateboarding games with updated visuals, new skaters, and expanded online multiplayer.
Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4 is now available through Xbox Game Pass Premium, giving more subscribers access to Activision’s acclaimed skateboarding remake without any additional purchase.
Until now, the game had only been included with Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, where subscribers also received a 10-hour trial for EA Sports College Football 27. With today’s update, Premium members can now download and play the full game as part of their subscription.
The collection brings together remastered versions of Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 and Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 4, originally released in 2001 and 2002. While preserving the fast-paced arcade gameplay that helped define the series, the remake modernises both titles with improved visuals, new playable skaters, and an expanded character creator.
Online play has also received significant upgrades. Players can compete with up to eight skaters across classic game types and newly introduced multiplayer modes, while the soundtrack blends returning tracks from the original releases with fresh additions created for the remake.
The arrival of the collection is particularly notable given the legacy of the original games. Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 remains one of the highest-rated games ever released on the PlayStation 2, and together with Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 4, the pair helped establish the franchise as one of the defining names in skateboarding games during the early 2000s.
I think this is one of the stronger recent additions to Xbox Game Pass. Even though the remake doesn’t carry exactly the same cultural impact or soundtrack as the original releases, it still offers an accessible way for returning players to revisit two classics while introducing a new generation to the series through a modern presentation. Make sure to grab it while you can!
