Now live on PC, Update 43.2 for PUBG: Battlegrounds introduces three Bentley luxury car skins and a new four-player co-op PvE mode set in Rondo. The update also expands PUBG: Playgrounds with community creations and improves several existing gameplay systems, with the console release scheduled for 22 October 2026.
According to the official Update 43.2 patch notes, the PC update arrived on 14 October, while console maintenance is scheduled to finish at 10am BST on 22 October, subject to changes.
The Bentley collaboration features three Special Vehicle Skins: the Flying Spur Mulliner (Luxe) Sedan, Flying Spur Mulliner Sedan and Continental GTC Mulliner Sports Car. Both Flying Spur variants can replace the Dacia and Mirado, while the Continental GTC transforms the Coupe RB.
Each brings custom engine, driving and horn sounds alongside Bentley-specific interiors and exterior details. The top-tier Flying Spur Luxe includes a retractable Flying B bonnet ornament and panoramic sunroof, while the Continental GTC features a folding soft top that can be operated at speeds below 80 km/h.
Importantly, the Bentley skins do not improve vehicle health, top speed, fuel capacity or handling characteristics. The underlying vehicle statistics remain unchanged, although the special skins can slightly alter a vehicle’s dimensions and appearance.
I’d argue the best part of this collaboration is that players can enjoy the Bentley designs without gaining an advantage over anyone else. These are elaborate cosmetic replacements rather than faster or tougher cars that give paying players an advantage during matches.
Obtaining them involves Bentley Cargo draws or Workshop crafting using Bentley Tokens. A single Cargo draw costs 250 G-Coin or one Bentley Cargo Ticket, with tickets also available for 10,000 BP each, limited to 50 per account. Players can additionally purchase the Crafter Pass: Bentley to earn collaboration rewards through missions.
Owners of the special skins can also unlock a Bentley container on selected starting islands before boarding the plane. The collaboration follows earlier crossovers, including PUBG’s Street Fighter 6 collaboration, although this time the emphasis is on detailed vehicle customisation.
Away from the luxury cars, SLB: Dawnbreakers of Rondo introduces the fourth Survivors Left Behind experience, developed by PUBG Studios alongside People Can Fly. Available through Arcade, the mode sends up to four players across six locations in Rondo to battle waves of Hungers and complete objectives.
The main goal is to power Generators, activate a Capacitor and defend it long enough to signal an escape. Players gather materials to craft weapons, healing supplies, turrets and traps, while new enemies include shield-bearing Hungers, ranged attackers and fast-moving Dog Hungers.
There are Rookie and Veteran difficulty settings, with solo entry, friend invitations and automatic matchmaking supported. Ammunition is unlimited, while non-weapon supplies can carry over between stages. Fallen teammates can also be brought back by retrieving their Blue Chips and using a Safehouse Recall Station.
One significant restriction is that only Hunger kills from successfully completed Veteran matches contribute to the mode’s rankings. Dawnbreakers also does not award Weapon or Survival Mastery XP, and its results do not appear in standard match statistics.
The limited-time mode runs on PC until 4 November, while console players receive it from 22 October to 12 November. A separate Event Pass: Dawnbreakers offers additional progression rewards.
Update 43.2 also introduces winning creations from the PUBG: Playgrounds and CurseForge competition. October additions include Operation Overlord and Multiplayer Bumper Cars, with further community modes arriving through December. The feature is currently PC-only.
This continues the user-generated content direction outlined in PUBG’s earlier development roadmap. Creators also receive undo and redo functionality, support for grouping up to 100 objects and more flexible team-size settings.
Elsewhere, vehicle spawn quantities have been aligned between Normal and Ranked matches across six major maps. Console players receive two new controller presets, PUBG Standard and Shooter Standard, while existing customised controls are retained.
Communication improvements include clearer teammate markers, additional radial commands and the ability to request that teammates enter a vehicle. The new Survivor Pass: The Villains and improvements to Custom Match management and Supply Bay rewards complete the update.
The Bentley collaboration remains available until 11 November on PC and 19 November on consoles, with additional time afterwards to spend earned Bentley Tokens through Special Crafting. Players should use those tokens before their respective expiry dates, as unused currency will disappear without a refund.
