Key Highlights:

  • October’s final three Catalogue additions are now available in the UK, US and Japan.
  • Tales of Arise includes Beyond the Dawn, while Poppy Playtime: Chapter 2 also supports PS4.
  • Extra and Premium members can download all three; Essential alone does not include them.

PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium subscribers in the UK, US and Japan can now download October’s final three Game Catalogue additions, following their arrival on 27 October 2026.

The games complete the month’s regional rollout:

Sony’s October Game Catalogue announcement scheduled these three releases a week later in those markets than the standard 20 October refresh elsewhere. Their arrival therefore completes an existing lineup rather than introducing three previously unannounced games.

For anyone considering Tales of Arise, the edition included in the subscription is important. The Beyond the Dawn Edition includes the base game and its story expansion, alongside additional costumes and items.

That detail matters for subscribers who already played the original adventure. Beyond the Dawn continues the story of Alphen and his companions, adding further quests and dungeons rather than simply bundling cosmetic extras.

There is also a progression detail worth knowing before returning. Producer Yusuke Tomizawa explained that the expansion starts with its own character progression, rather than directly transferring levels and character stats from the main campaign. Completed main-game saves instead provide bonuses such as money and skill points.

I would play the main campaign before starting Beyond the Dawn, because the expansion continues its story. For returning players, the included expansion provides a reason to revisit the game even if they have already finished the original adventure.

Poppy Playtime: Chapter 2 supplies the horror option, sending players further into the Playtime Co. factory following the first chapter’s events. Puzzles, traversal and encounters with hostile toys form the core of the adventure, with Mommy Long Legs among its threats.

Sony lists both PS4 and PS5 versions of Chapter 2. PS4 subscribers therefore receive two games from this final batch, with Tales of Arise also available across both generations.

Monster Energy Supercross 25 is the only game in this batch without a PS4 version. Milestone’s racer features the official 2025 championship, including the 250SX and 450SX classes, with a career that begins in SMX Next.

Its multiplayer options extend beyond online racing. Milestone confirms cross-play and local split-screen, while dynamic terrain creates ruts that change the track as riders complete laps. Players can therefore race together on one console or compete with friends on other supported platforms.

All three games require an active Extra or Premium subscription for Catalogue access. Downloading them does not secure permanent access if they later leave the service, and dropping to Essential also removes that Catalogue entitlement.

That differs from October’s PS Plus Monthly Games, which subscribers can still add to their libraries until 2 November. Claimed Monthly Games remain playable with an active PlayStation Plus membership, including Essential.

The 2 November deadline applies to those Monthly Games, not this final Catalogue batch. Sony’s October announcement does not specify removal dates for these three additions.
