The Elder Scrolls v: Skyrim has been given a free update on the PC for the HD texture pack. The update has improved Hearthfire, Dawnguard and the Dragonborn downloadable content expansion packs.

The new update will consist of 4.7GB and will be completely free to all PC owners to help improve the texture of the game. The update should only be downloaded if your PC can actually handle it according to game developers Bethesda.

The update has been released successfully already on the Xbox 360 console and is due to arrive on the PlayStation 3 at the end of the month. The new Dragonborn DLC will take you back to Solstheim, which featured in The Elder Scrolls III Morrowind’s Bloodmoon expansion pack.
