Ubisoft confirmed the full release schedule for Assassin’s Creed 3: The Tyranny of King Washington on 6 February 2013, detailing when all three episodes of the alternate-history DLC would arrive.
The first episode, The Infamy, was already scheduled for 19 February on PC and Xbox 360, followed by its PlayStation 3 release on 20 February.
Episode 2, The Betrayal, was then set for 19 March on PC and Xbox 360, with the European PS3 version following on 20 March.
The third and final episode, The Redemption, was scheduled for 23 April on PC and Xbox 360, followed by the European PS3 release on 24 April.
The Tyranny of King Washington presents an alternate version of the American Revolution in which George Washington becomes corrupted by power and crowns himself king. Connor, known here by his birth name Ratonhnhaké, must fight against Washington’s rule across the three-part single-player story.
Each episode was sold separately for $9.99 or 800 Microsoft Points and was also included with the Assassin’s Creed 3 Season Pass. Ubisoft had confirmed that the trilogy would also come to Wii U, although its release schedule had not yet been announced.
The announcement followed Ubisoft bringing the earlier Hidden Secrets and Battle Hardened DLC packs to Wii U in January 2013, extending the post-launch content available for Assassin’s Creed 3 across Nintendo’s console.
