Developers The Behemoth have confirmed that BattleBlock Theatre will get a worldwide release date of April 3rd next month. The game will go straight onto Xbox Live and will cost gamers 1200 Microsoft points.
BattleBlock Theatre Coming To Xbox Soon
BattleBlock Theatre is a co-op/competitive platform game that which can be played with 1-4 players online or locally. There are various different arenas to play in throughout the game. Although only initially released for the Xbox Live Arcade, the game maybe announced for other consoles at future dates.
In BattleBlock Theater, players control characters known as Prisoners who are forced to participate in deadly games orchestrated by an enigmatic antagonist called Hatty Hattington. The game features a variety of levels filled with puzzles, traps, and enemies that players must navigate through to progress.
Heavy Emphasis On Gaming Humour
The gameplay revolves around platforming challenges, precise jumps, and timing-based obstacles. Players can unlock different abilities and weapons as they collect gems throughout the levels. The game can be played both in single-player mode or cooperatively with friends, allowing for teamwork and coordination to overcome challenges.
