Sega have announced that their sci-fi shooter Aliens: Colonial Marines will not be released on the Nintendo Wii U. There has been a long silence over the past few months with Sega not denying nor confirming a Wii U version. Now though, they’ve said that a Wii U version will not go ahead after all.
The giant gaming publishers said that all development regarding the Aliens: Colonial Marines Wii U version has now been cancelled. Many critics didn’t take well to the highly anticipated Aliens game, with the majority of the gaming community also left feeling disappointed.
The Wii U edition was supposedly going to be the best version of the game out of all the consoles too. The vast amount of negative feedback definitely played a huge part in Sega’s decision to cancel the Wii U version.
Aliens: Colonial Marines had been previously released on the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Windows PC back in February.
