Lego Star Wars: The Yoda Chronicles will launch today on the IOS and will be a free-to-play game The Lego Group have officially announced today. You’ll also be able to access the game on the official Lego website and play there too.

The Yoda Chronicles will launch this summer on Android devices and in the meantime, Star Wars fans can try it out for free on the IOS. The Lego ID system has been integrated into the title, so that gamers can access their own saves from the browser and mobile versions of the game.

You’ll also be able to acquire some exclusive bonus content that will be available to each of the respective platforms. The gameplay is quite brilliant, as players will be able to explore labyrinthine dungeons, and join either the rebels, or the dark side of the force.

There’s even real-time lightsaber battles that will kick you off the edge of your seat. This version of Star Wars is definitely worth checking out if you are one of the loyal fans of the franchise. As a freebie, it’s even worth having a look at if you’re not a fan too.

Players must collect sufficient amount of studs in order to build ships, tanks, soldiers and other mandatory items and accessories. Gamers will have to also watch out for some secret codes that will be designated throughout the levels. These codes will unlock various units and special bonus content.

There’s a total of 20 achievements to unlock in the game, and the game also features a total of 15 action-packed levels and 5 bonus missions. These bonus missions will contain a type of quick play mode that means players will have to defeat as many enemies as possible in a certain time-frame.

If you level up when your inside the bonus missions, you’ll enhance your players statistics in the full main game too.
