The Xbox One game title of the newly released movie of The Amazing Spider-Man 2 is to be put on hold for now Activision have announced. The developers are going to start collaborating with Microsoft in-order to make sure the games released a lot sooner than they expect.
Developed by Beenox, the game offers an open-world representation of New York City, allowing players to freely swing through the city as Spider-Man and explore various iconic locations. There’s a a dynamic combat system that combines Spidey’s acrobatic abilities, web-based attacks, and melee combos to take down enemies.
The game loosely follows the events of the 2014 movie “The Amazing Spider-Man 2” and features an original storyline that explores Spider-Man’s struggles against a variety of iconic villains. Players can earn experience points by completing missions and defeating enemies, which can be used to unlock new abilities, skills, and upgrades for Spider-Man.
The reason behind the long delay is still at this moment in time unknown by all, but it’s still set to drop by on PS3, PS4, PC, Wii U, Nintendo 3DS and Xbox 360 next month in May. Major online retailers such as GAME and Amazon are still showing up listings in their search results for the next-gen Xbox version.
