Activision has plenty to celebrate for Spyro’s 25th birthday this year, as Toys for Bob’s acclaimed Reignited Trilogy remaster has now surpassed 10 million units sold globally. An impressive milestone for reviving the iconic purple dragon’s adventures.

The original Spyro trilogy released on PlayStation 1 between 1998-2000, crafted by studio Insomniac of Ratchet & Clank fame. After those pioneering 3D platforming adventures, Spyro wandered through various iterations of diminishing returns.
