Players will soon be able to collect Skeleton Crew-inspired cosmetics on the same day A Pirate’s Fortune arrives on May 15th, 2025.
Free Cosmetic DLC Inspired by Star Wars: Skeleton Crew
Ubisoft confirmed on social media site X/Twitter that a Skeleton Crew-themed cosmetic pack will be available for all players at no additional cost. This bundle includes:
- A speeder trophy
- A Trailblazer trinket
- A custom outfit for Nix, your companion
- A few minor cosmetic tweaks, including thermal detonators on the speeder
Oddly, there’s no new outfit for protagonist Kay Vess in this bundle. Still, it’s a solid freebie that complements the paid content arriving the same day.
Once the update is installed, players can collect their items via the delivery crate on the Trailblazer, the ship you use to explore the galaxy.
A Pirate’s Fortune: Next Story DLC Arrives the Same Day
The A Pirate’s Fortune DLC will expand Kay and Nix’s journey as they explore the Khepi system, teaming up with Hondo Ohnaka to challenge the ruthless Stinger Tash and her Rokana Raiders.
The mission revolves around infiltrating the ancient Khepi Tomb to uncover powerful secrets and hidden treasure.
In addition to new narrative content, players will encounter the Miyuki Trade League, a new faction that offers smuggling contracts in exchange for exclusive rewards for the Trailblazer.
The DLC is available for free for season pass holders and separately for standalone purchase.
Star Wars Outlaws launched in August 2024 with moderate critical reception, a 75 average on OpenCritic—but sales underperformed.
Ubisoft and Massive Entertainment have since released patches and new content in an effort to boost long-term engagement.
This wave of updates also includes a free three-hour demo, available now on PS5, Xbox, Steam, and Epic Games. A Nintendo Switch 2 demo hasn’t been confirmed yet, but the full game is set to launch on that platform on September 4th, 2025.
Ubisoft’s continued support for SW Outlaws, even amid weak sales, suggests the publisher sees long-term potential.
The Skeleton Crew crossover adds synergy with ongoing Star Wars media, while A Pirate’s Fortune expands lore and offers meaningful gameplay progression.
