Xbox Free Play Days Offers Hell Let Loose, State of Decay 2 and Blasphemous 2 This Weekend
Xbox has announced its latest Free Play Days promotion, giving players the chance to jump into three games over the weekend, including the tactical shooter Hell Let Loose and zombie survival favourite State of Decay 2.
The event runs from June 11 to June 14 and features different access requirements depending on the game.
Hell Let Loose is available to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, Premium and Essential members. The World War 2 shooter supports 50-versus-50 battles with infantry, tanks and artillery spread across large-scale maps that place a strong emphasis on teamwork and communication.
Meanwhile, State of Decay 2: Juggernaut Edition is free for all Xbox players throughout the weekend, meaning no Game Pass subscription is required. Undead Labs’ open-world survival title lets players establish communities, scavenge resources and fend off zombie hordes either solo or in co-op. The enhanced Juggernaut Edition also includes the Homecoming update, which restored Trumbull Valley and added new areas to explore.
Blasphemous 2 is also open to all Xbox users, although access is limited to a five-hour trial. The Metroidvania sequel follows The Penitent One once again as players battle grotesque enemies, overcome platforming challenges and uncover the mysteries surrounding the Miracle.
Players can access the games by visiting the Free Play Days collection through the Xbox Store’s Subscriptions section on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S. Alternatively, the titles can be downloaded directly from their respective Microsoft Store pages.
Those who enjoy what they play can purchase the games afterward and continue with their existing saves, achievements and Gamerscore. Discounts are also available for a limited time, although prices may vary by region.
State of Decay 2 is currently discounted to $7.49, while Team17’s Hell Let Loose and Blasphemous 2 are also part of the promotion.
The current Free Play Days event ends on June 14.
