The PlayStation Plus August 2026 Game Catalogue is now complete in the UK, US and Japan after its final five delayed titles became available on August 25.
PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium subscribers in those regions can now access Hell is Us, Two Point Museum, Metro Exodus, Dying Light 2 and Umamusume Pretty Derby – Party Dash.
The five games were already available in most other supported regions from August 18. Sony deliberately assigned the later date to the UK, US and Japan as part of its continuing staggered Game Catalogue rollout.
That makes today’s release a regional completion rather than a worldwide third wave.
Sony split the August Game Catalogue schedule across three dates. Helldivers 2 arrived first on August 12, followed by another four additions on August 18.
All 10 August Game Catalogue and Classics titles are consequently available to UK subscribers now.

Hell is Us is the newest release among today’s additions.
Rogue Factor’s action-adventure launched in September 2025 and follows Rémi through the isolated nation of Hadea. Players investigate the disappearance of his parents while confronting supernatural creatures known as Hollow Walkers.
Hell is Us deliberately removes traditional quest markers and detailed navigation aids. Progress instead depends on conversations, environmental information and the player’s ability to interpret where those clues lead.
Two Point Museum brings management simulation to the final group.
Players build museums, hire staff and arrange exhibits while sending Experts on expeditions to recover new artefacts. The PlayStation Plus version provides access to the standard PS5 release.
Metro Exodus is a returning Game Catalogue title.
The 4A Games shooter includes both PS4 and native PS5 versions through PlayStation Plus. The PS5 release adds ray-traced lighting, faster loading, DualSense support and 60fps gameplay.
Dying Light 2 has a more unusual position within this month’s PlayStation Plus line-up.
Techland’s open-world zombie game is already available as an August Monthly Game and can still be claimed until August 31.
Its addition to the Extra and Premium Game Catalogue creates two different entitlement paths.
The Monthly Game version remains attached to a player’s account after it is claimed. Access continues while that account maintains an eligible PlayStation Plus subscription.
Game Catalogue access works differently. The Extra and Premium version remains playable only while Dying Light 2 stays in Sony’s catalogue.
I think Extra and Premium members should therefore claim the Monthly Game version before August 31 even if they intend to play through the Game Catalogue, because doing so protects their subscription-based access from a future catalogue removal.
That distinction is particularly relevant because Dying Light 2 has already left PlayStation Plus Extra once.
The game first joined the Game Catalogue in November 2024 and departed in July 2025. Its August 2026 return therefore creates another opportunity for the same catalogue lifecycle to happen again.
Umamusume Pretty Derby – Party Dash is the only PS4-exclusive addition in today’s group.
Its Slapdash Grand Prix contains four events: Hurtling Hurdles, Blazing Baskets, Dodgeball Demolition and Gourmet Gauntlet.
Players select competitors from teams of five Umamusume, while the individual party events support up to four players.
The broader August line-up also demonstrates that Sony’s regional release experiment is continuing.
The company used a similar split in June, when the final PS Plus Extra games arrived later in the UK, US and Japan than in other markets.
July followed the same general approach.
August therefore marks the third consecutive month in which selected Game Catalogue releases have been separated by region instead of arriving everywhere on one date.
Sony previously said it was exploring different ways to deliver Game Catalogue titles in the UK, US and Japan. Three consecutive months of staggered releases now suggest the experiment has become an established part of its 2026 PlayStation Plus strategy.
