Key Highlights:

PlayStation Plus July 2026 games have been officially announced, with Sony confirming that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III, For the King II and CrossCode will be available to all PlayStation Plus members from 7 July.
The latest monthly lineup offers a mix of blockbuster action, cooperative role-playing and retro-inspired adventure, with subscribers able to claim all three titles until 3 August.
Leading the lineup is Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III – Cross-Gen Bundle for PS5 and PS4. The first-person shooter continues the story of Captain Price and Task Force 141 as they pursue ultranationalist war criminal Vladimir Makarov following the events of Modern Warfare II.
Alongside the single-player campaign, players also gain access to the game’s multiplayer mode, featuring remastered versions of all 16 maps originally introduced in Call of Duty: MW2 (2009). The package also includes Modern Warfare Zombies, an open-world cooperative mode where multiple squads work together to survive against increasingly dangerous undead threats.
The second title joining the PlayStation Plus July 2026 games lineup is For the King II, a tactical roguelite RPG that can be played alone or with up to four players in co-op. Set in the fantasy kingdom of Fahrul, players must overthrow Queen Rosomon after she turns against her people and allies herself with sinister forces.
Building on the original For the King, the sequel introduces an updated engine alongside refined gameplay systems, offering a blend of turn-based strategy, tabletop-inspired mechanics and roguelite progression.
Completing this month’s lineup is CrossCode, a critically acclaimed 2D action RPG that combines classic 16-bit visuals with fast-paced combat, environmental puzzles and deep character progression. Players explore a science-fiction world while customising equipment and abilities to exploit enemy weaknesses throughout the adventure.
I personally think this is one of the more balanced PlayStation Plus monthly lineups in recent memory. Rather than relying solely on one major blockbuster, Sony has paired a high-profile AAA shooter with two highly regarded role-playing games that offer very different experiences. That variety gives subscribers more reasons to try games they may otherwise have overlooked.
The announcement also serves as a reminder for subscribers who have not yet redeemed June’s monthly games. Once the new lineup becomes available on 7 July, last month’s titles will no longer be available to claim through PlayStation Plus.
All three PS Plus July 2026 games can be added to subscribers’ libraries from 7 July until 3 August, allowing members to keep access to them for as long as they maintain an active PlayStation Plus subscription.
