PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium Games for June 2026 Lineup

Key Highlights:

  • Sony has revealed June 2026’s PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium line-up.
  • Final Fantasy XVI and Kingdom Come: Deliverance headline the month’s additions.
  • Subscribers in the UK, US, and Japan will receive games on staggered release dates.

Sony has announced the PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium titles arriving in June 2026, and it’s one of the strongest line-ups the service has seen in months.

Eight games are joining the Game Catalogue across PS5 and PS4, with Final Fantasy XVI leading the charge alongside Kingdom Come: Deliverance, Sonic X Shadow Generations, and Life is Strange: Double Exposure.

In a notable change, Sony is trialling a staggered release schedule in the UK, US, and Japan. Rather than all titles becoming available on the same day, games will arrive throughout the month. Players in other regions will receive the entire line-up on June 16, similar to the previous system.

The June 2026 additions are:

PlayStation Plus Extra

  • Final Fantasy XVI (PS5) – June 16
  • Sonic X Shadow Generations (PS5, PS4) – June 10 (UK and US), June 11 (Japan)
  • Kingdom Come: Deliverance (PS5, PS4) – June 23
  • Life is Strange: Double Exposure (PS5) – June 23
  • Farming Simulator 25 (PS5) – June 30
  • Blades of Fire (PS5) – June 30
  • Black Desert (PS5) – June 30

PlayStation Plus Premium

  • Gitaroo Man (PS5, PS4) – June 16

Final Fantasy XVI headlines the month, giving RPG fans another chance to dive into Clive Rosfield’s story ahead of next year’s Final Fantasy VII Remake Revelation. Meanwhile, Kingdom Come: Deliverance offers a very different role-playing experience, replacing fantasy with historical realism.

Elsewhere, Sonic X Shadow Generations brings Sega’s speedy duo to subscribers, while Life is Strange: Double Exposure continues the narrative adventure series with another mystery built around supernatural abilities. Players looking for something more relaxed can spend their time building farms in Farming Simulator 25.

MercurySteam’s Blades of Fire, from the studio behind Metroid Dread and Castlevania: Lords of Shadow, also joins the service later this month. MMORPG fans, meanwhile, can jump into Black Desert.

Premium subscribers receive one additional title in June. PlayStation 2 rhythm game Gitaroo Man makes its debut on PS4 and PS5, bringing the cult classic to modern hardware for the first time.

The staggered rollout mirrors Microsoft’s approach with Xbox Game Pass and suggests Sony is experimenting with a more gradual release schedule in key markets. Whether the change becomes permanent remains to be seen, but subscribers have plenty of major games to look forward to this month.
