PS Plus Extra June 2026 Games Now Available as Final Three Titles Go Live

Key Highlights:

  • PS Plus Extra June 2026 games are now fully available in the UK, USA and Japan.
  • Black Desert, Blades of Fire and Farming Simulator 25 complete this month’s lineup.
  • Sony’s staggered release experiment continues to divide PlayStation Plus subscribers.

PS Plus Extra June 2026 games are now fully available, with the final three PlayStation 5 titles rolling out across the UK, USA and Japan after arriving in other regions two weeks earlier.

The latest drop completes Sony’s June Game Catalog lineup for PlayStation Plus Extra subscribers in the three regions taking part in the company’s ongoing release experiment, which splits monthly additions across multiple dates instead of launching them all together.

From today, subscribers can now download:

  • Black Desert (PS5)
  • Blades of Fire (PS5)
  • Farming Simulator 25 (PS5)

The staggered rollout has been one of the biggest talking points among PlayStation Plus members throughout June. In previous months, every PS Plus Extra title became available on the same Tuesday following Sony’s monthly announcement. Under the new approach, however, players in the UK, USA and Japan have had to wait up to two additional weeks for some games that were already available elsewhere.

That delay has disrupted the schedule many subscribers had grown used to. With the final PS Plus Extra June 2026 games arriving today, Sony will now reveal the July 2026 PlayStation Plus Essential lineup tomorrow, creating a much tighter schedule between the two subscription tiers.

Among today’s additions, Blades of Fire has attracted the most attention. The action adventure launched earlier this year and places players in the role of Aran de Lira, a warrior who forges his own weapons in a world where ordinary metal has turned to stone. Unlike traditional action games, success depends on carefully crafting weapons and mastering deliberate, weighty combat rather than relying on fast attacks.

Farming Simulator 25 is another notable addition. The latest entry expands the long-running farming series with new environments across East Asia, North America and Central Europe, alongside new crops, production chains, animals and more than 400 licensed machines from 150 agricultural brands.

Meanwhile, Black Desert brings its expansive MMORPG experience to the PS5 Game Catalogue, giving subscribers access to its open-world exploration, large-scale battles, life skills and guild-focused gameplay.

The way I see it, the quality of today’s games was never the biggest issue. The criticism has largely centred on timing. Many subscribers don’t mind waiting for a strong lineup, but waiting longer than players in other regions for exactly the same games naturally creates frustration. Whether Sony continues this release strategy will likely depend on community feedback over the coming months.

Sony previously confirmed that the staggered rollout is an experiment in selected markets, with the UK, USA and Japan receiving certain Game Catalogue titles on different dates throughout the month. The company has not announced whether this approach will become permanent.

The final three releases complete a June lineup that also included Final Fantasy XVI, Sonic X Shadow Generations, Kingdom Come: Deliverance, Life is Strange: Double Exposure, and, for PlayStation Plus Premium members, Gitaroo Man.

With the PS Plus Extra June 2026 games now fully available, attention will quickly turn to tomorrow’s PlayStation Plus Essential announcement, which is expected to reveal the next batch of monthly games for subscribers.
