Sony has revealed its Tokyo Game Show 2025 lineup, confirming that Ghost of Yotei, Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls, and Astro Bot will be on display.
The announcement comes as part of PlayStation’s second consecutive year attending the long-running Japanese exhibition, which takes place from 25–28 September at Makuhari Messe in Chiba, Japan.
Ghost of Yotei makes its public debut
Developed by Sucker Punch as the spiritual successor to Ghost of Tsushima, Ghost of Yotei is one of PlayStation’s most anticipated exclusives. TGS 2025 will host the game’s first public demo, giving players an early look before its October 2nd release.
This timing makes it one of the headline titles of the show, particularly for fans eager to see how the series evolves beyond Tsushima’s historical setting.
Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls joins the lineup
Alongside Ghost of Yotei, Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls will also be featured. Developed by Arc System Works, the game brings Marvel’s heroes and villains into a traditional fighting game format, a natural fit for the studio best known for Guilty Gear and Dragon Ball FighterZ.
While a closed beta is set for early September, TGS marks the first chance for broader hands-on impressions.
Astro Bot returns at Family Game Park
The family-friendly Astro Bot, which won widespread acclaim last year, including winning GOTY at The Game Awards will be playable at the Family Game Park section of TGS 2025. Unlike Ghost of Yotei and Marvel Tokon, both limited to the main PlayStation booth on 25–26 September, Astro Bot will be accessible to the general public on 27–28 September.
More PlayStation titles to be revealed
Sony has stated that this is only the preliminary lineup, with further announcements expected in the run-up to TGS. Last year’s show featured multiple surprise additions from PlayStation, so fans should expect similar reveals this time around.
Sony won’t be the only big name in attendance. Capcom has already confirmed its presence, bringing along Resident Evil Requiem, Onimusha: Way of the Sword, Pragmata, and more.
With rival publishers preparing their own high-profile showcases, this year’s TGS looks set to deliver one of the strongest lineups in years.
