A new trailer for Halloween: The Game gives players a closer look at Tower Farm, the Halloween 5-inspired multiplayer map arriving free for all game owners on October 27.
Released on October 13, the video explores the farming community outside Haddonfield, moving beyond the suburban neighbourhoods featured in the game’s original four multiplayer maps.
In its official Tower Farm preview, IllFonic reveals more about the rural setting, including a harvest festival where residents traditionally gather for pumpkin carving, live music and seasonal celebrations.
The location draws inspiration from Halloween 5: The Revenge of Michael Myers, particularly the Tower Farm party sequence from the 1989 film. However, the game’s interpretation expands the surrounding area with additional buildings, roads and agricultural locations.
Among the newly detailed landmarks is a trailer park containing a laundromat and convenience store, while irrigation structures, historic barns and sprawling fields contribute to the wider farming community.
The harvest festival provides another distinctive setting, with pumpkins, seasonal decorations and farming equipment contrasting with the darker surroundings.
I think the most interesting aspect of Tower Farm is how its open countryside could change the tension between Michael Myers and the Civilians. Residential streets offer numerous houses and enclosed spaces, while crossing exposed farmland could make reaching the next hiding place considerably more dangerous.
The contrast between the festival grounds, farm buildings and surrounding fields may also create different opportunities for pursuit and concealment, although IllFonic has not yet detailed the map’s escape routes, item locations or spawn arrangements.
GLN’s earlier October 27 DLC announcement confirmed that Tower Farm would accompany two new Michael Myers appearances, additional playable Civilians and a Halloween costume pack.
The new trailer has also prompted discussion about the update’s timing. Some players welcomed the additional environment, while others questioned why the Halloween-themed content would arrive only four days before Halloween itself.
For now, Tower Farm remains unavailable in public matches. Players will be able to explore the new location when the October 27 update goes live on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC.
