It has been rather a good week for Ubisoft this week, as there latest game “Assassins Creed 3″ sold well over 7 million copies. The game developer was completely over the moon on the news of their games success. Saying that they knew all along that they had something very special with this title.
They went on to say about how proud they are of the series and they are just glad that their loyal fans enjoyed the latest installment. The same storyline goes with this new and improved addition. Desmond Miles as the character is known must use the memory of he’s ancestors in order to save the present day world.
In this game you have to play as Connor who has a vendetta against the British set in the late 18th century. Even George Washington makes a casual appearance in the game briefly.
Assassins Creed 3 is now the official fastest selling video game in the company’s long history. We personally don’t think the sales are going to stop anytime soon either. Overall 40 million individual copies of the entire Assassins Creed franchise has been sold worldwide since the year 2007 when it burst onto the scene.
