Treyarch and Activision have (today) announced that the new Revolution DLC for Call of duty: Black ops 2 is out now for PlayStation 3 and PC. The Revolution DLC will include a brand new Zombies map, a new Zombies game mode, four new multiplayer maps and a new SMG weapon called Peacekeeper.

The SMG weapon will go down well with Black Ops 2 gamers as it a very powerful weapon and exciting to use. The downloadable content introduces four new multiplayer maps to the game: Hydro, Grind, Downhill, and Mirage. Each map offers a unique setting, layout, and strategic opportunities for players to explore and engage in intense battles.

The new Zombies mode experience called Die Rise looks amazing. Players will face hordes of zombies as they navigate through a shattered skyscraper in a post-apocalyptic environment. This new map provides a fresh and challenging experience for fans of the game’s popular cooperative mode.

If you want to purchase Revolution, you can with by a COD: Black Ops 2 season pass, or buy the individual map pack. The choice is yours, but the season pass will gain player extra content like the Nuketown Zombies bonus map and a exclusive calling card to use in-game.

The price for the standard map pack of the Revolution DLC is £9.85, or the season pass is £40 which gets you all the added content included. The Xbox 360 Revolution DLC is already out and is also available now.
