For those of you who’ve not tried out Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 yet, now’s the time to take action. Steam are letting gamers try their hand at the multiplayer mode this weekend. The best part, is it’s going to be completely free to play!
So you’ll be able to play the shooter via Steam until 4pm ET on Sunday afternoon. Game developers (Treyarch) tweeted that all players will even get double XP until Monday 13th May 2013. Just in-case you’re curious, here’s the full tweet:
Double XP kicks off tomorrow at 10am/PDT (360,PS3/PC/WiiU) and runs through Monday 10am/PDT. What’s that? You feel a sick day coming on?

That’s not all either, you can save a massive 33% off when purchasing the original or Deluxe Edition of COD: Black Ops 2 over at the big Steam sale that’s now on. We’re sorry that this post came a little late, we missed the first real news story that would add value to our readers for the first time since we launched.
We’ll make sure that this never happens again, and we’ll keep our eyes peeled in future. If you ever wanted to try the famous shooter out for free, get in on Steam’s free weekend quick, as there’s only a matter of hours left in order to do so.
