Fortnite, the popular Battle Royale game, has been around for a few years now and has made a name for itself in the genre. Initially, what made it unique was its building mechanic, but it has since added a Zero Build Mode for players who prefer not to use it. Despite this, the game continues to stand out with quirky skins, emotes, and unique weapons and environmental features. Recently, players have found a way to detect sneaky bush campers without having to check inside, using a new weapon in an innovative way.
In Fortnite, the ultimate goal is to be the last player standing and achieve a Victory Royale. While eliminating enemies is a common way to achieve this, some players opt to wait it out instead. This has been a popular strategy since the early days of the game, particularly when the Legendary Bush item was still available. Although the Bush item has been vaulted, bush camping is still a prevalent strategy, with players hiding in natural bushes in the environment, which are larger and cannot be moved.
Pro Player Finds The Answer To Bush Campers
Late game campers as they’re called, are going to have to be a little more imaginative as bushes won’t be the go-to anymore thanks to a popular streamer and pro player. Faze Replays was streaming the game and subsequently uploaded the footage to his YouTube channel as a video. In the video he showcases the new lock-on pistol as he tried to just get kills with using that new gun only and win the game. In doing so, he actually ended up finding out about the ability to see if enemy players are camping in bushes. Check out the full upload below:
Fortnite players who like to camp in bushes don’t necessarily have to change their strategy, but they do need to be cautious if they notice an opponent aiming a new high-tech gun in their direction. Players from the community have expressed concerns about the new technique being risky as it is nearly impossible to spot another player inside a bush without entering it. They fear that those who use this method could be wrongly accused of cheating, since the person being hit by the Lock On Pistol might not know how they were discovered. However, Epic Games reviews reported footage, so false accusations are unlikely to be an issue.
