Niantic is adding new content to the current Pokemon GO season, providing players with new ways to catch various Pokemon and their variants. As May approaches, the devs have already announced the upcoming May Community Day featuring Fennekin.

Players in the UK and all around the world can look forward to encountering Fennekin more often during the upcoming May Community Day event, which is set to take place on May 21st from 2 pm to 5 pm local time. This special event will give players the chance to catch more of this popular Pokemon, making it an exciting opportunity for fans across the country.

Fennekin was introduced to Pokemon GO in 2020 as part of the Season of Celebration, along with Chespin, Froakie, and other friends from the Kalos region. If players evolve Fennekin’s evolved form, Braixen, during the event or within five hours following its conclusion, they will obtain a Delphox with the powerful Charged Attack, Blast Burn. Evolving Braixen specifically at the start of the event will yield a Delphox that also knows Charged Attack Mystical Fire.

Details On The Community Day

The initial Pokemon GO event in May will be An Instinctive Hero, featuring numerous obtainable Pokemon, including some unique ones. Among these special creatures are Elekid donning a distinctive accessory and the debut of Larvesta, a Bug/Fire-type species. During the event, players can hatch Larvesta from 2km, 5km, and 10km eggs. Moreover, Pokemon GO enthusiasts will have the opportunity to evolve Larvesta into Volcarona.

The Community Day event offers a $1 ticket granting access to Fennekin’s exclusive Research story and themed Field Research with rewards such as Stardust and Ultra Balls. Players can enjoy various bonuses during the event, including doubled Stardust and Candy for capturing Pokemon, and reduced Stardust requirements for Trades.

On May 21, from 5 pm to 10 pm local time, players can battle fox-based Braixen in four-star raids. Additionally, themed stickers will be available when spinning PokeStops and opening Gifts during the May Community Day.

New Community Day announcements are always exciting in the game, as players concentrate on acquiring new Pokemon and gathering resources to strengthen their existing ones.

Pokemon GO is available on both iOS and Android platforms, allowing players to explore their surroundings and catch Pikachu and Friends in augmented reality.
