In a surprising twist, Rockstar Games has rolled out not one, not two, but three spanking new background updates for the much-loved GTA Online. This move was a response to a medley of issues that cropped up in the recent summer update, aptly named GTA Online San Andreas Mercenaries.

The inside scoop on these updates comes from the reliable community insider, Tez2. This chap has been kind enough to share the nitty-gritty of these updates on Twitter. Some of these fixes were long overdue, with community members grappling with issues like weapon loadouts for the Cayo Perico Heist and the Mobile Operations Center resetting.

The First GTA Online Update June 15th

Cargobob during “LSA Operation #3 – Whistleblower” will now detach any hooked vehicleThis fix enables the Cargobob helicopter to detach any vehicle accidentally hooked into it when the player presses the detach button during the mission.
Fixes an issue during “LSA Operation #1 – Direct Action” where delivering Toreador results in loading screenThis fix addresses an issue where delivering the Toreador vehicle during the Direct Action mission would result in an infinite loading screen.
Patches out Auto Shop glitch/bugThis patch resolves a glitch or bug associated with the Auto Shop, fixing the issue and preventing it from occurring.

The first update, which took place on June 15th, addressed a range of issues. These included a bug with the South Central Data Leak mission, a glitch resetting the MOC and the Avenger back to stock options, and a problem with the Personal Vehicle stored inside MOC. The update also fixed a hiccup during the “LSA Operation #3 – Whistleblower” mission involving the Cargobob.

Two More Quick-Fire Updates June 16th

Patches God Mode glitch involving Agency ServicesThis patch resolves a glitch involving Agency Services that allowed players to enter a God Mode state.
Patches a Passive Mode glitch involving hovering over interaction menuThis patch addresses a glitch where players could activate Passive Mode by hovering over the interaction menu.
Patches Off the Radar glitch with Avenger (Stealth Module) while Auto-Pilot is engagedThis patch fixes a glitch where the Off the Radar ability with the Avenger’s Stealth Module would still be active when the Auto-Pilot was engaged.
Xbox only – Party NPCs have been removed during “Nightlife Leak Finale” to most likely resolve an infinite loading screen bugThis fix, specific to Xbox, removes Party NPCs during the “Nightlife Leak Finale” mission to likely resolve an issue with infinite loading screens.

The very next day, Rockstar released two more updates. The development team has taken significant strides in addressing various challenges encountered in the game. Noteworthy among these resolutions are the elimination of the MOC resetting to stock bug, the rectification of the Draugur getting trapped inside the Avenger during the Reporting for Duty Project Overthrow Mission, and the resolution of a bug related to Weapon Loadouts during the Cayo Perico Heist. They also patched a few glitches involving Agency Services, interaction menus, and the Avenger’s Stealth Module.
