This passion project even provides players the choice between the fixed, cinematic camera angles from the original or a modern over-the-shoulder perspective. The development team has expressed hopes of one day releasing a playable version.

However, it’s likely Capcom would shut down the project before that could happen. Fingers crossed the footage remains a promising glimpse of what could be.
