Dead by Daylight Chapter 31 Introduces Enigmatic New Killer and Desperate Survivor
The developers behind the popular asymmetrical horror game Dead by Daylight have unveiled details on the next content update, Chapter 31: All Things Wicked. This expansion introduces an unsettling new killer dubbed The Unknown alongside a survivor named Sable Ward.
Slated to launch on March 12 across all platforms, Chapter 31 brings plenty of foreboding additions to Dead by Daylight’s nightmarish realm. A creepy new map called Greenville Square is also included.
Mysterious New Killer
The most ominous new element in All Things Wicked is undoubtedly the appropriately titled killer, The Unknown. While its origins and motives remain a mystery, The Unknown utilises a unique toxin to not only damage victims but also plunge them into terrifying hallucinations.
This deadly substance creates phantom “husks” of The Unknown that survivors perceive as real. The killer can then swap places with any hallucination to disorient prey. As more toxin spreads, its abilities grow even stronger. Fans will be pleased with this amazing addition to the roster.
New Survivor Seeks Missing Friend
To counter the looming threat of The Unknown, Chapter 31 introduces relatable new survivor Sable Ward. She enters The Fog in hopes of finding her missing best friend, fellow survivor Mikaela Reid.
Wracked with guilt over Mikaela’s disappearance, Sable is unwilling to give up the search. Now she must face not only her old friend turned adversary within The Entity’s sadistic games, but also evade the clutches of The Unknown and its lethal toxin.
This exciting chapter comes off the back of the hugely popular Chucky update that saw one of horror’s most iconic characters implemented into the game.
Themed Around a Sinister Small Town
In keeping with previous expansions, Chapter 31 includes a new stage for survivors to desperately traverse while avoiding elimination. Greenville Square offers a creepy small town locale containing areas like a movie theatre concession area and arcade.
