After teasing portions of the lineup for months, the developers have now confirmed the entire WWE 2K24 starting roster. It encompasses fan favourites from previous games alongside new additions making their debut.
In total, the current WWE 2K24 roster consists of over 200 unique playable superstars. This includes renowned legends like The Rock, Stone Cold Steve Austin, Ric Flair, and Mick Foley alongside today’s top talent such as Roman Reigns, Becky Lynch, Seth Rollins, and Bianca Belair.
The roster features a wide variety of era-spanning icons, from Attitude Era and Ruthless Aggression stars to modern greats. And as always, it incorporates alternate personas and gimmick versions of popular wrestlers – such as The Fiend and Demon Balor – to expand the options.
However, a few controversial names are notably absent this year. Due to ongoing allegations, Vince McMahon reportedly won’t appear as a playable character. And while Brock Lesnar may still show up in certain modes, he isn’t part of the main WWE 2K24 roster.

DLC Packs Will Add More Fan Favourites Post-Launch
While the initial WWE 2K24 roster covers a huge amount of ground, additional superstars will arrive through DLC after the game’s release. Multiple post-launch packs are planned, though so far only a few names have been confirmed.
Chart-topping musician Post Malone, who also curated the game’s soundtrack, will be added as a playable superstar down the line. It’s unclear if he’ll arrive solo or as part of a larger DLC pack.
Typically, WWE 2K DLC drops start arriving within 4-6 weeks of launch and continue at regular intervals. With the base roster now revealed, we can speculate on some of the top superstars likely to join the game as downloadable content.
Many renowned legends that long-time players expect to see are absent from the initial lineup, making them prime targets for DLC. Several Hall of Famers like Goldberg would generate buzz.
Popular alumni of the Ruthless Aggression era have also been left out, including RVD and the Dudley Boyz. Their additions would appease nostalgic fans.
And NXT standouts such as Gargano and Ciampa who’ve been left off the main roster so far seem destined to end up as DLC sooner than later.
