Fortnite Festival’s Musical Expansion

Fortnite’s innovative Festival mode is turning up the volume with a burst of new content hitting the game this week. Hot on the heels of its Lady Gaga collaboration, eight fresh hit tracks spanning genres like rock, hip-hop and pop are arriving on March 14th.

The eclectic new setlist spans iconic anthems like Darude’s “Sandstorm”, DMX’s “X Gon’ Give It To Ya”, Katy Perry’s “Firework” and P!nk’s “So What”. Players can rock out for free during a limited window before purchasing tracks individually at 500 V-Bucks to keep them permanently playable.

Striking a Chord: Epic Games and Fender’s Dynamic Collaboration

But the real headliner may be Fortnite’s new partnership with legendary guitar brand Fender. As of yesterday March 13th, players can purchase the iconic Fender Stratocaster guitar and Precision Bass for 800 V-Bucks each to wield during performances and battles.

Two suitably rockstar emotes dubbed Windmill Stomp and Kick It accompany the axes at 200 V-Bucks per. You can check out each emote in the tweet posted by the official account below:

Epic Games seems truly committed to transforming Fortnite Festival from a novel experiment into a premier music-gaming destination.

Leaks point to a competitive “Music Battle” mode potentially on the horizon to let players duel with duelling riffs and licks rather than gunfire.

With an ever-expanding tracklist of hits both nostalgic and contemporary plus the ability to jam with genuine instrumental icons, Fortnite Festival is rapidly becoming a can’t-miss attraction.

Players have more reasons than ever to drop into the rhythm-based action and showcase their musical talents to the world.
