Originally released in November 2024, Planet Coaster 2 builds on the foundations of its predecessor by giving players even greater freedom to design, manage and customise their own theme parks. The timing of the discount is particularly noteworthy as it arrives just days after Frontier released the game’s biggest expansion to date.
Last week saw the launch of the Parades DLC, introducing fully customisable moving parades for the first time in the series. Players can create their own parade routes, build unique floats using hundreds of scenery pieces and populate celebrations with entertainers, music and special effects.
The expansion also added five new rides, including the HPC Buzzard single-rail coaster and the FD Vision Electric Trolley, alongside more than 500 new scenery pieces inspired by a Small Town Americana theme. At the same time, all players received the free Update 10, which brought back Vista Points, introduced Event Points and added several quality-of-life improvements.
