PS Plus Members Can Claim Four Free Rocket League Cosmetics Right Now

Key Highlights:

  • PlayStation Plus members can claim a free Rocket League cosmetic pack until August 5.
  • The bundle includes four premium items for players on PS4 and PS5.
  • It arrives just ahead of another busy week of Rocket League content.

PlayStation Plus subscribers have another free bonus waiting to be claimed, with Rocket League players on both PS5 and PS4 now able to download an exclusive cosmetic bundle containing four premium items.

The free pack is available through the PlayStation Store until August 5, 2026, and can be claimed by anyone with an active PlayStation Plus membership. Since Rocket League is already free to play, there’s no need to purchase the base game before redeeming the offer.

The latest PlayStation Plus bonus includes four cosmetics that can be equipped through Rocket League’s Garage customisation menu:

Cosmetic TypeItem
Animated DecalHeatwave

TopperRooster Comb PW
BoosterFractal Fire

After claiming the bundle from either the PlayStation Store or Rocket League’s Add-Ons menu, players simply need to head into the Garage and equip each item from its respective category. If the cosmetics don’t appear immediately, restarting the game or using the Garage search function should make them easier to locate.

The giveaway comes during another busy period for PlayStation Plus. June’s final monthly games, including Black Desert, Farming Simulator 25 and Blades of Fire, become available on June 30, while July’s PlayStation Plus Essential lineup is expected to be revealed shortly afterwards.

Rocket League itself also has plenty happening beyond the free PlayStation cosmetics. Epic Games and Psyonix recently confirmed the game is receiving an upgrade to Unreal Engine 6, promising improved visuals and modernised technology for the long-running vehicle football title.

Meanwhile, the Summer Road Trip event is expected to continue this week with the arrival of the Dodge Viper GTSR in the Item Shop on July 2. While pricing and bundle contents have yet to be officially announced, the iconic sports car is widely expected to become the next premium vehicle released during the event.

I think this is one of the better PlayStation Plus extras we’ve seen recently. While cosmetic packs won’t appeal to everyone, Heatwave remains one of Rocket League’s most recognisable animated decals, making the bundle worthwhile for existing players, especially considering it’s completely free with an active subscription.

The free Rocket League PlayStation Plus Pack remains available to claim until August 5, giving subscribers over a month to add all four cosmetics permanently to their collection.
