While exploring an expansive underground Hive area in the RE4 Remake, beneath Ramon Salazar’s stronghold, Leon discovers a troubling Blue Request plea for help. Scattered notes warn that the Hive’s four deadly “Entrances” continually spawn swarms of vicious insectoid Novistador enemies, threatening the lives of all nearby.

Never one to leave the innocent endangered, Leon takes it upon himself to track down and destroy each of these four Hive Entrances. Doing so stems the tide of endless insectoid foes and earns Leon a useful reward.

After the minecart ride with Luis, Leon reaches a small shack containing the telling Blue Request Note. This begins the search for brightly glowing yellow Hive Entrances dotted around the Hive’s twisting passages and platforms.

With a trusty handgun equipped, it’s time to start scanning the fleshy, pulsating Hive structure overhead for targets. Each destroyed Hive Entrance means fewer Novistador spawns.

Your handsome reward from the Merchant

Upon informing the Merchant of his heroic deeds, Leon is presented with 4 Spinels – perfect for purchasing new gear and upgrades to tackle future foes lurking within Salazar’s stronghold.

This is one of the easiest Merchant Requests you’ll come across, it’s the 13 of 19 in total and can be found in Chapter 11 of the RE4 Remake. What makes it so simple, is the fact that all four of the objectives are all quite close to each other in distance. Up next is the Jewel Thief Merchant Request.
