With Silent Hill 2 being another fan-favourite game set for a remake, it’s possible that Bloober Team can join the ranks of these successful survival horror game remakes.
Babieno’s statement that Silent Hill 2 is “technically ready” suggests that the development process has progressed further than many fans expected. While it’s not yet finished, it does imply that the team is nearing completion. There is still work to be done, but it seems that Bloober Team is close to wrapping things up.
However, it appears that Konami, the game’s publisher, is responsible for the release and promotion of Silent Hill 2, meaning that the decision of when to release and how to promote the game is not in the hands of Bloober Team.
