Crafty Fortnite players have uncovered an electrifying new use for the battle royale’s latest explosive addition. The new EMP Shield Breaker grenade doesn’t just counter vehicles and turrets – it can also hack vending machines for free gold bars!
Chapter 4 Season 4 introduced the tactical throwable to disable enemy tech. EMP blasts effortlessly down deployable turrets and stall speeding cars. Against shields, they deal solid damage too. Here’s how to use the glitch to gain infinite gold bars every match in Fortnite Battle Royale.

Use The High Voltage Reality Augment
The first thing you are gonna want to do is keep on re-rolling your reality augments until you get the high voltage augment. Don’t worry about your gold, as you’ll be getting all of it back ten-fold using this glitch.
Locate a Vending Machine On The Map
The high voltage reality augment grants additional EMP Shield Breaker Grenades after every elimination in the game. Now you want to locate a vending machine of any rarity, this is how you are going to farm the EMP items to use in the next step!
Throw The EMP Grenade And See The Gold Flow-In
All you have to do now is throw the EMP Grenades that you’ve stacked up in your inventory at the vending machine. The gold that pops out ranges from 50 gold bars up to 150 if you’re lucky. Importantly, you must remain at a safe distance otherwise the blast will damage your over-shield and regular shield by 75 damage.
