Guerrilla Games’ studio has officially announced that the highly anticipated PlayStation VR2 game Horizon Call of the Mountain has been nominated for two major awards at the upcoming Dutch Game Awards – Best Art and Best Technology.

Alongside its Dutch Game Awards nominations, Horizon Call of the Mountain had also been nominated for VR Game of the Year at the upcoming VR Game Awards in November. This further demonstrates the anticipation building around Guerrilla’s first foray into virtual reality and the potential for Horizon Call of the Mountain to set a new standard for VR gaming.

Horizon Call of the Mountain is a VR game set in the world of Horizon Zero Dawn and Horizon Forbidden West. Developed by Guerrilla Games and Firesprite exclusively for PlayStation VR2, this new title puts players directly into the shoes of Ryas, a former Shadow Carja warrior. Using the immersive capabilities of PS VR2, including eye tracking and haptic feedback, players will be able to explore the dangerous wilderness, scale treacherous mountains, acquire new equipment and helpful buffs, and come face-to-face with enormous, intricately designed machines like Thunderjaw, Stormbird, and Snapmaw.
