Internal planning documents reportedly stolen from Insomniac Games have revealed a proposed release schedule for projects following Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, including standalone Venom and X-Men games, Marvel’s Spider-Man 3 and a new Ratchet & Clank instalment. The documents outline potential releases extending into 2032, although none of the previously unannounced projects has been formally confirmed by Sony.
According to Insider Gaming’s 19 December 2023 report, a leaked planning slide dated July 2023 identifies six projects and their intended financial-year release windows.

The proposed Venom game is particularly interesting following Insomniac’s earlier comments about a possible standalone adventure. Reported project material describes a smaller-scale experience involving Venom and Carnage, potentially bridging the stories of Spider-Man 2 and Spider-Man 3.
However, neither the game’s development status nor its proposed 2025 release has been confirmed.
Marvel’s Wolverine is the only game on the leaked schedule already announced by Sony. The July roadmap places it in 2026, followed by Spider-Man 3 in 2028, with some leaked planning material reportedly exploring a two-part approach to the latter.
Insomniac’s longer-term plans also appear to include a return to Ratchet & Clank, followed by a dedicated X-Men project. The proposed new intellectual property for 2031 or 2032 would potentially extend the studio’s portfolio beyond its established franchises.
Another project associated with the breach is Spider-Man: The Great Web, reportedly conceived as a multiplayer Spider-Man experience. The separate Spider-Verse game rumours emerged from references to potential multiplayer development, but the available material does not establish that the project remains active.
I think the most revealing aspect of the roadmap is the proposed concentration of Marvel releases. If those plans progress, Insomniac could be developing interconnected superhero adventures alongside its traditional Ratchet & Clank series, although the different schedules underline how uncertain long-term production remains.

Later Update: The leaked 2025 target for Venom passed without an official release or announcement. Marvel’s Wolverine, however, launched on PlayStation 5 on 15 September 2026, matching the year shown in the original roadmap. The game received its first major gameplay reveal in September 2025, followed by a confirmed launch detailed in Sony Interactive Entertainment’s official release announcement. The remaining leaked projects and their dates have not been publicly confirmed as a complete release schedule.
