Siphon Medallion
The Siphon Medallion, guarded by the formidable Doombot, awaits players at Castle Doom. This imposing fortress, located in the northern part of the map, houses the robotic enforcer in its throne room.
Doombot isn’t a pushover – it boasts both a shield and health bar, making the fight a true test of skill.
To obtain the Siphon Medallion:
- Land at Castle Doom and enter the main castle
- Locate the throne room and prepare for battle
- Defeat Doombot and his AI minions
Players who manage to overcome this mechanical marvel will be rewarded with the Siphon Medallion, Doom’s Arcane Gauntlets, and Doctor Doom’s Monarch Pistol (Mythic).
The Siphon Medallion’s power lies in its ability to restore the bearer’s health and shields upon defeating an enemy. It is the most OP (Overpowered) in Fortnite Ch5S4 by a longshot!
This vampiric effect extends to damaging foes as well, allowing players to sap their opponents’ shields.
The Siphon Medallion is particularly potent in the final, frantic circles of a match. It’s ideal for aggressive players who thrive on frequent combat, providing a constant source of healing in situations where medical supplies might be scarce.
Plenty of Pro’s will not only be happy to see that Siphon is back, but will also be picking this Medallion up straight from the Battle Bus.
Stealth Medallion
For those who prefer a sneakier approach, the Mysterio boss in Doomstadt holds the key to the Stealth Medallion.
True to his comic book counterpart, Mysterio employs trickery in combat, warping around the POI and summoning clones to confuse players.
To claim the Stealth Medallion:
- Head to Doomstadt’s main square
- Locate and engage Mysterio
- Focus on the real Mysterio, ignoring his clones
A well-aimed shotgun blast is your best bet to cut through the illusions and claim your prize. Along with the Stealth Medallion, victorious players will also nab Mysterio’s Sovereign Shotgun, a Mythic-tier weapon that packs quite a punch.
The Stealth Medallion grants the power of invisibility when crouching, opening up a world of tactical possibilities.
Use it for surprise attacks, daring escapes, or to reposition yourself undetected. This could be good for bush campers who want to stay alive and avoid fights.
It’s definitely the worst Medallion by far! Pro players will not be picking this up after testing it out but that’s not to say that you might not like it.
Remember, though, that players with the Reveal Medallion might still be able to spot you, so use your invisibility wisely. Also, when you have these coins, you show up on the map.
Reveal Medallion
The Reveal Medallion awaits those brave enough to challenge Emma Frost in The Raft. This maximum-security prison, now a battleground, houses the formidable mutant.
While Emma Frost may be the easiest of the three bosses to defeat, don’t let your guard down – other players will be eager to swoop in and steal your hard-earned loot by third-partying you.
To secure the Reveal Medallion:
- Land at The Raft and enter from the eastern rubble
- Head to the bottom section to find Emma Frost
- Defeat Emma Frost and her cronies
The Reveal Medallion’s power is knowledge. Every minute or so, it reveals the locations of nearby enemies, giving its owner a significant tactical advantage.
In the tense final moments of a match, when players are hunkered down and waiting for the perfect moment to strike, this information can mean the difference between victory and defeat.
It’s worth noting that while these Medallions offer substantial benefits, they come with a caveat. As previously mentioned, carrying a Medallion broadcasts your approximate location on the map, making you a tempting target for other players.
It’s a classic risk-reward scenario that adds an extra layer of strategy to each BR match.
The introduction of these new Medallions for Ch5S4 represents a significant shift in Fortnite’s gameplay dynamics.
Players must now weigh the benefits of these powerful items against the increased attention they’ll draw.
Do you go for the Siphon Medallion to sustain yourself in prolonged fights? Or perhaps the Stealth Medallion for a more cunning approach? The Reveal Medallion’s intel-gathering ability could be crucial in the endgame, but is it worth the risk of being hunted?
These new elements blend seamlessly with Fortnite’s existing mechanics, creating fresh tactical considerations.
The boss fights themselves add a player-versus-environment element to the traditionally player-versus-player game, offering a different kind of challenge.
They also create hotspots on the map, areas where players are likely to converge in search of high-tier loot and Medallions. As with any major update, it will take time for players to fully explore and understand the impact of these new elements.
The meta will undoubtedly evolve as strategies are developed and counters are discovered. Fortnite’s Chapter 5 Season 4 update brings more than just a fresh coat of paint to the battle royale phenomenon.
As players drop into the newly transformed island, they’ll find new challenges, new powers, and new ways to claim victory.
Whether you’re in it for the Marvel magic or the thrill of new tactics, this season promises to be an absolute blast.
