Key Highlights:

  • Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is 90% off on Xbox for 24 hours, down to £6.99/$7.
  • The deal ends June 23 and requires 115 GB of free space to install.
  • Despite poor reception, it offers 10–40 hours of AAA content at its lowest price on the Microsoft Store.

Rocksteady Studios’ 2024 release Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League has dropped to its lowest-ever price on the Microsoft Store.

Offering Xbox Series X|S players the chance to pick up the divisive AAA game for just £6.99/$7, but only until June 23rd as reported by ComicBook.

That’s a staggering 90% discount off its original £69.99/$70 launch price.

Originally released to widespread criticism and lukewarm Metacritic scores in the low 60s, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League struggled to meet expectations set by Rocksteady’s acclaimed Batman: Arkham series.

Commercially underwhelming and critically polarising, the game has since become a cautionary tale of live-service design, but its price drop now presents a different kind of value, curiosity at a cut-rate cost.

What You Get for £6.99/$7

The campaign follows Task Force X members – Harley Quinn, Deadshot, Captain Boomerang, and King Shark as they attempt to neutralise corrupted versions of Superman, Batman, and the rest of the Justice League.

Set in a Brainiac-invaded Metropolis, the open-world structure supports a main story campaign lasting between 10–20 hours, with completionists able to stretch content up to 40 hours.

For the asking price, Kill the Justice League still delivers full-scale production values, cinematic sequences, and co-op multiplayer options, albeit within a framework that drew heavy criticism for its repetitive mission design and loot-focused progression.

This offer does not include any DLC like Mrs. Freeze from Season 2, or The Joker from Season 1, you will have to purchase those separately.

What to Know Before Buying

To install the game, players will need 115 GB of free space on their Xbox console.

The offer is exclusive to the Microsoft Store and only available for 24 hours, ending June 23.

Historically the only place the game has been cheaper is on Steam, and even that was during a separate limited-time promotion. It also got a free trial on PlayStation Plus Premium in May 2024.

For anyone interested in seeing what went wrong with Rocksteady’s latest, or just eager to explore Metropolis in a AAA setting without breaking the bank, this may be the best time to jump in.
