Dead by Daylight players were given a rare opportunity to test the upcoming Chorus of Sin chapter before its Public Test Build and full release, with Behaviour Interactive distributing 4,500 limited Early Access invitations.
Unlike a conventional redeem-code giveaway, players were not guaranteed access after completing the required steps. Watching an eligible Twitch stream placed each participant into a random draw for an account-linked Steam invitation.
The promotion required players to own Dead by Daylight on Steam, create or sign in to a Behaviour Account, connect that account to Twitch and watch at least one hour of a selected Chorus of Sin stream carrying the Drops Enabled label.
Each Behaviour Account could receive only one entry. Eligible players who were not selected in an earlier draw remained in the pool for every subsequent selection round.
Behaviour ran five draws across 30 and 31 July:

The official promotion period ended at 3:59pm ET on 31 July, meaning players can no longer enter the giveaway. However, successful entrants can still use the Early Access build during its final playable windows on 1 August.
The remaining sessions run from 8am to 11am ET and from 12pm to 4pm ET. Access is attached directly to the selected Behaviour Account and cannot be transferred or shared with another player.
Behaviour also warns that the Early Access build may contain bugs, incomplete features and missing translations. Feedback gathered during the sessions will be combined with responses from the Public Test Build, although any resulting changes will not be completed before the PTB begins.
The wider Public Test Build is scheduled to open on Steam on 5 August, giving PC players another opportunity to test Chorus of Sin before its worldwide launch on 25 August.
Chorus of Sin introduces The Judgement, a new Killer presented as a divine force determined to cleanse sin, and Aurora, a spiritual scientist from a ruined world. Behaviour unveiled their names and the chapter’s release date during Dead by Daylight’s 10th anniversary presentation, alongside major visual upgrades, additional game modes and other long-term plans for the multiplayer horror game.
The chapter began as The Grimoire, a project that allowed the community to influence an upcoming release through a series of votes. Players helped shape elements of its characters, visual direction and gameplay over more than a year, making Chorus of Sin the first Dead by Daylight chapter built around direct community input.
Early Access sessions are normally limited to participating creators who preview upcoming content before a Public Test Build. Behaviour expanded this test to regular players because of the community’s involvement in creating the chapter, although server capacity and testing requirements restricted entry to 4,500 winners.
The Early Access giveaway follows a busy anniversary period for Dead by Daylight. Behaviour recently distributed anniversary Twitch Drops and a code worth 10 million Bloodpoints, while also confirming realistic facial animation, redesigned character models, enhanced environments, dynamic weather and experimental one-versus-one and zombie modes.
Chorus of Sin represents a different form of player involvement. Rather than simply responding to feedback after a character entered testing, the community influenced the chapter throughout its development and can now provide another round of feedback before the final launch.
